Own to Rent is something that is quite interesting for folks that are looking to own but are unable to find the downpayment. Its an alternative financing strategy to hme ownership. How it works, you ask? A potential tenant/buyer is qualified; tenant/buyer shops for a home; investor buys the property; lease agreement and option to purchase are signed; tenant/buyer moves into the house and after a few years - usually 3 - the tenant becomes an owner.
